SPILLFIX Heavy Duty Absorbent boom are used to contain and absorb oil spill, especially for Crude Oil.
SPILLFIX Heavy Duty Absorbent Booms are made of high quality natural fibres with oleophilic and hydrophobic characteristics which only absorbs oil and repels water. Therefore, this boom floats on water. SPILLFIX Heavy Duty Oil absorbent booms can be used to handle all types of hydrocarbon spills such as fuel oils, hydraulic oil, gasoline, diesel, motor oil, jet fuel, kerosene and Crude Oil.
It has been designed to be used on river, ponds, lakes, low current sea area and can be used on land to contain and absorb oil spills.
The outer layer has been built with durable and high tensile netting, complete with spinal belt to have a strong presence for heavy duty application.
